BTI and The Environment

BTI's mission can be viewed as three overlapping themes: Research, Education, Environment. The subheadings on this web page explain how BTI contributes to, or participates in environmental issues. While environmental concerns have long been addressed through scientific research, public interest in the environment has risen dramatically as climate change and energy-related issues have begun to impact everyday life in an unprecedented way. Research entities such as BTI have an obligation and an important role to play in predicting, observing and mitigating environmental issues.
